Welcome to SAE Library: Account Activation

Welcome to SAE Library

Welcome to the SAE Library!

There are two accounts you will need in order to access library resources.

  1. Library Account; and
  2. LinkedIn Learning.

To find out how to set up or activate these accounts, please, see below.

Activating your Library Account & E-Resource Access

1.   Library Account

Your Library account provides you access to:

  • Electronic resources:  These types of resources include ebooks, ejournals and emagazines which can be located via a library search or via one of the discipline pages on the library website. You can select any discipline area to access resources which may be of interest to you.
  • Your personal library record:  This enables you to see what you have borrowed from the library, see the date that library items are due, and place holds on resources which may be on loan to other students.

You will be required to activate your student gmail (or other SAE designated email account) before you can access your library account.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are a student of SAE Australia, you do not need to set up a Library account to access Library systems. When accessing library resources, you will be directed to your local Microsoft Single-Sign-On. If you are already signed-in through Microsoft, you will be automatically authenticated and signed in.

2.   LinkedIn Learning

As an SAE student you have free access to LinkedIn Learning tutorials whilst you are undertaking study.  LinkedIn Learning provides a range of tutorials on a number of different topics which you can use to support your learning at SAE.
You will be required to activate your student gmail to enable access to LinkedIn Learning tutorials.  Please contact the library if you require assistance.

The guides and video below will show you how to access both your library and LinkedIn Learning accounts.
